Christopher Stone

Christopher is partner and founder of Renaissance, and owner of VentureCorp Construction, the vertical construction arm of Renaissance. Christopher oversees all aspects of development and construction projects, new market penetration, opportunity recognition and evaluation, project cost projection and cost control. As a business owner and real estate developer, he possesses vast experience in the design and construction of residential and commercial real estate. A native of Upstate South Carolina, Christopher is a member of the Spartanburg Rotary Club, the Spartanburg Home Builder's Association and Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce. He is also a graduate of Leadership Spartanburg and volunteers annually to sponsor local little league teams.

David Cooper

David is partner and founder of Renaissance. David began his real estate and development career in 2001 by accumulating a portfolio of income-producing properties, and went on to co-found Renaissance Investments in 2002.  As CEO of Renaissance, David manages all financial concerns, opportunity recognition and evaluation, sales strategies, marketing, relationship management, and general oversight responsibilities. A North Carolina State graduate, David gained valuable management experience in his 16 year tenure with one of the largest privately owned global companies in the world. David’s corporate experience includes leadership positions in engineering, operations management, supply chain management, and business and product management.  Moving into the real estate field, he has utilized his management abilities to develop sales and financing relationships in the residential and commercial real estate markets.

Rob Durden

Rob Durden, partner in Renaissance Investments, received a Bachelor in Business Administration from University of Georgia in 1988.  After graduating, he spent 15 years in the high technology sector, specializing in sales of computers, computer software and telecommunications in the eastern United States.  He then began his own company – Crossfire – which merged with Renaissance LLC in 2004.  Rob handles sales and marketing functions for the Renaissance companies. Tony Stone

With 15 years experience in the commercial and residential construction fields, Tony Stone acts as project manager for Renaissance LLC. He is the backbone of the construction division, having managed construction projects ranging from $10,000 renovations to $2.8 million commercial developments.  Tony handles many Renaissance residential projects, but primarily focuses on commercial projects.

BJ Albaugh

BJ Albaugh joined Renaissance in 2006, and is also a partner in Renaissance Costal Development, LLC, a company whose purpose is to pursue development and construction opportunities in the South Carolina Low Country. BJ focuses on residential construction, marketing, and new market penetration. BJ obtained a Bachelors and Masters Degree from The University of Oklahoma while simultaneously spending several years in the corporate world, including founding and overseeing a successful real estate investment company.
